Cherai Beach, Kerala

It is the top most beaches in Kerala which is situated only 25 km away from the city Kochi. The entire beach is lined with the tall coconut trees offering a perfect sight of the beach. Fortunate people can spot dolphins here and can gather beautiful memories of the sea. It is a crowded beach as it is a favourite of many locals and visitors. Ernakulam junction is the nearest railway station to Cherai beach and the nearest airport is Cochin airport which is just 30 km away. The idea time to visit the beach is from September to May.

Alappuzha Beach, Kerala

It is one of the best beaches in Kerala and also the top tourist spot located in Alappuzha district. The lovely beach is full of lagoons, water criss crosses and pretty lakes. Some of the nearby attractions which are must to visit are Pathira Manal, Sree Krishna temple, Kuttanad, and Champakulam church. Playing games on the beach is a common activity, people like to indulge in games like volley ball, snake boat race, swimming, para sailing and surfing. The ideal time to visit Alappuzha is from August to September. Alappuzha station is just few kms away from the beach.

Muzhappilangad Beach, Kerala

It is the drive beach in Kerala and is located between Thalassery and Kannur. Local and tourists love to drive on the beach as it is considered to be the first and best drive beach in the entire Asia. The beach is 7 km long and is open for bike and car riders. The waves along the rock formations and the splashing sound offer a pleasant delight for the visitors. Thalassery railway station is just 12 km away from the beach and October to March is the best season to visit the beach.

Kollam Beach, Kerala

Kozhikode Beach, Kerala

Kappad beach, Kerala

The locals consider the Kappad beach to be the historic famous beach in Kerala. It is also known by the name of Kappakadavu. Vasco Da Gama, Portuguese explorer is known to have landed on Kappad beach in the ear 1498. The beach is located in the city just at a distance of 15 km from the popular town Kozhikode. The tranquil beach appeals a lot of visitors to experience and feel the calm side of nature. The 800 old temple near the beach is popular and is a must visit when in Kerala. Bekal Beach, Kerala

Bekal is a tiny town located in the state of Kerala and the Bekal beach is surrounded by forts, hills, and other beautiful aspects of nature.
