Chikmagalur Hill Station, Karnataka

The hill station is situated at the foot hills of Mullayanagiri range and offers a nature’s retreat. It offers cool climate and is situated 1090 m above sea level. The exquisiteness of the hill station can be witnessed in the huge area of coffee plantations. There are many other interesting places in and around Chikmagalur such as Kudremukh national park and Bhadra wildlife sanctuary, Dwarka, Kodanda temple and many more fascinating monasteries. September to March is an ideal time to visit the hill station. The nearest rail heads to Chikmagalur are Hassan and Kadur at just 60 and 40 km away.

Nandi Hills, Karnataka

Nandi Hills is known to be the best hill station in Karnataka. It is the oldest hill fortress and offers pleasant climate all through the year. The hill station is situated at a height of 4851 ft offering the most breathtaking sceneries. Madikeri Hill Station, Karnataka

It is the less crowded hill stations of Karnataka located in the Coorg district. It is at a height of 3840 ft from the sea level and carries a great history behind. The rugged slopes, petite towns and colorful scenes all around showcase a beautiful chapter of Karnataka. There are mountains and hills all over which offers enchanting picture of the state. Kudremukh Hill Station, Karnataka

Kudremukh is basically a peak which is located in the Chikkamagaluru district. The hill station is rich in mineral wealth and bio diversity. The peak of Kudremukh means horse face; it is named because the peak looks like the face of horse. The town is surrounded by dense forests of shoal and natural grasslands all over and offers a picturesque view of the entire place. The place can be visited in any season, for instance it is good for trekking in summer, and offers romantic climate in monsoon and the temperature dips in winter. Kodachadri Hill Station, Karnataka

This is one of the best hill stations in Karnataka, which is located on the outskirts offering serene views of waterfalls, high peaks, and other stunning landscapes. It is situated in the forest regions and is located at a height of 1343 mt above sea level in the Shimoga distict. Kodachadri comes from the meaning hill of jasmine flowers.
